Counselling

There are many reasons for wanting to begin counselling. A recent, or current, crisis is often the prompt. Or, you may feel the time has come to take a closer look at those issues that seem all too familiar to you. It may feel like a big step to take, but talking to someone about things that may be bothering you can really help.

My aim, both initially and throughout, is to help you give voice to, as well as understand more fully, those areas of your life that may feel difficult, painful, unfulfilled or stuck. Such understanding can be useful in its own right, but it can also help us make decisions about those things we may wish to change.

Counselling offers a way of finding clarity about issues that may be troubling you, a way of understanding yourself better and providing fresh perspectives. It can help you to understand why you might be motivated to do certain things and help you get in touch with resources within you which you may not be aware you have.

I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment with space and time to fully explore your issues, fears, difficulties, choices and opportunities.

I work with couples and individuals  (18+ adults only)
